These magnetic bell boots/wraps are a non-invasive method of assisting in the recovery of your horse/pony by increasing blood flow and oxygen to the hoof. They each contain 20 north facing magnets which produce a healing and sedating effect.

The wrap itself is made from poly cotton and is lightweight and easy to use, fastening with a Velcro strap.

Conditions that can benefit :

Sore or bruised feet, Laminitis, poor growth, Navicular and any condition where increased circulation to the foot will help.

How to use :

Place the bell boot wrap over the hoof with the magnets at the front and fasten at the back.

We recommend that your horse is gradually introduced to magnetic therapy and suggest that you start by leaving the boots on for a period of about an hour initially. If you feel your horse/pony is quite comfortable after this period of time you may leave the boots on for longer periods. Do not leave on for more than 12 hours at a time and do not apply too tightly!

Do not apply magnetic therapy to the following :

Any parts of the legs that are hot – there should be no heat in the injury before applying magnets.

To or near open wounds

If the horse has an acute untreated infection

To any injury less than 48 hours old

Whilst exercising your horse or whilst your horse is turned out – for stable use only

If the horse/pony has a metal plate, pin or implant in the affected area

On an area that has liniment, fly spray or other chemical applied

On a horse diagnosed with cancer

Over the reproductive points of a pregnant mare

Washing instructions : Wash the boots in warm soapy water then allow to dry naturally. Lay flat to dry and do not soak them.

NB – Please note that magnetic therapy is not a substitute for sound veterinary advice and if your horse/pony is unwell we recommend that you contact your vet. Equine Magic do NOT accept liability for customers use of our products.

Random Testimonial

There are very few people in serious competition who don't use it now and there's no doubt it can be of benefit. Scientifically, it's still somewhat controversial. There's a lot of anecdotal evidence from people who find that a horse who has been wearing a rug with magnets is a lot looser to ride straight out of the box.
