Our quality durable magnetic fetlock wrap forms an ideal fit for the fetlock and provides the therapeutic effect of 24 1,000 gauss ceramic magnets. The boots are extremely lightweight and easy to use and simply attach with Velcro straps.
These lightweight poly cotton boots/wraps form an ideal fit for the fetlock and provide the therapeutic effect of 24 1,000 gauss ceramic magnets. Included with each boot/wrap is a free Equipatch that contains 2 1,000 gauss magnets that can be applied anywhere to boost the magnetic effect.
Conditions that can benefit :
Helps alleviate stiffness, arthritis, bruising, leg and tendon problems, fetlock, sesamoid and low suspensory problems, preventative for weak and vulnerable areas.
We recommend that your horse is gradually introduced to magnetic therapy and suggest that you start by leaving the wrap on for a period of about an hour initally. If you feel that your horse/pony is quite comfortable after this period of time you may leave the wrap on for longer periods. Do not leave on for more than 12 hours at a time and do not apply too tightly!.
Do not apply magnetic therapy to the following:
Any parts of the legs that are hot - there should be no heat in the injury before applying the magnets.
To or near open wounds.
If the horse has an acute untreated infection.
To any injury less than 48 hours old.
Whilst exercising your horse or whilst your horse is turned out - for stable use only.
If the horse/pony has a metal plate, pin or implant in the affected area.
On an area that has liniment, fly spray or other chemical applied.
On a horse diagnosed with cancer.
Over the reproductive points of a pregnant mare.
Magnetic therapy wraps may be used with ice on a rotating basis as hot and cold therapy.
Washing instructions : Wash the wraps in warm soapy water then allow to dry naturally. Lay flat to dry and do not soak them.
