Used for digestion and also for coat and skin condition.  Burdock is an excellent tissue cleanser as it encourages the tissues to shed an accumulated toxins, therefore it is ideal for use in chronic inflammatory disorders.  It is important that it is given in conjunction with herbs that will encourage the removal of these waste products from the body, such as nettles or clivers.
