Homeopathic remedies are highly diluted medicine which can be regarded as being very safe.  There are certainly no detectable residues left within the animal, hence there is no need for a withdrawal period before a competition.  Also, as these remedies will not mask the pain of minor injuries such that the horse will injure itself by continuing work, they are safe to use and can, if correctly prescribed, improve the horses health and general performance.
